Michael Logsdon joined Sutton & Janelle, PLLC in January 2021 after interning with the firm during October 2020. He currently practices criminal defense with a focus on DUI defense, family law, and civil litigation matters like personal injury. Drawn to the practice of law because it allowed him to develop important skills to help those in his community, Mr. Logsdon is driven to advocate for his clients with compassion and empathy.
Mr. Logsdon graduated within the top 10 and cum laude from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he earned his Juris Doctor. While in law school, he earned the Sidney J. Stern Scholarship for embodying integrity, intellect, and leadership. He competed nationally on the Moot Court Board and earned the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award. While serving as an Honor Council Defender, Mr. Logsdon also represented a student against whom Honor Code violations were alleged.
